Switzer Falls
Starting at Switzer Picnic Site in Angeles National Forest, this hike follows the Gabrielino Trail into the shaded Arroyo Seco canyon, leaving the picnic area and bridge behind as the stream becomes the main companion of the route.
The path continues through wooded bends, creek crossings, canyon walls, and traces of the old Switzer Trail Camp before reaching the vicinity of Upper Switzer Falls.
The final section drops away from the main trail toward the watercourse, leading through a tighter rocky corridor to Switzer Falls, where pools, rock faces, and falling water form the natural highlight of the hike.
